A Twitter update wouldn’t work here b/c they Tweet much more than just a simple location update. Same with Facebook.
The solution is a simple SSI file that they can login to online and change with no code mess to scroll through.
This method can be used to update anything from one liners like this, to full paragraphs and even lists.
